Adult's Quilt Square Crafting

Adult's Quilt Square Crafting In-Person

2025 marks 105 years of the library at 93 Main Street! Help us celebrate by contributing to our anniversary quilt. While participants can pick up a square to work on from home, we will be hosting several in-person workshops for different age groups.

Adults are invited to make quilt pieces inspired by their experiences at the library on Wednesday, October 1st. Our quilt squares will be created around the theme "Library Stories from Our Community." Some supplies will be available, but participants are welcome to bring items to craft with. Quilt squares will be used to create our anniversary quilt, displayed in December!

Registration is not required, but encouraged for this program. Registrants will receive a reminder email the day before the program.

In October of 1920, the Elting Memorial Library opened its doors to the community at its new location at 93 Main Street. Planned celebrations to commemorate the 100th anniversary were interrupted by the pandemic, so the library community was not able to celebrate this milestone together. This year, 2025, marks the 105th anniversary of the library's location at 93 Main Street.
