My Cartography of Coping: Adults Make Zines In-Person
Join us in the Steinberg Room on Thursday October 2nd from 5 to 7pm for a workshop led by Dana Variano is a free and safe space for adults to explore anxiety and mental health coping skills through the use of zines, markers, stamps, and more. We’ll work together to create fictional geographic maps of our favorite coping places – like Journal Cove, Fidget Falls, or Seltzer Lake – and use a variety of art supplies to decorate them. From hand-drawn zine templates to hand-carved stamps to hand-picked locations, adults are invited to express their creativity through emotional mapping.
Brought to you by a generous grant from @unitedweom.
Register to get an email reminder the day before the program. Registration is optional.
