Battle of the Books Sign-up and Information Session In-Person
Current and rising 6th-12th graders are invited to join the summer Elting Memorial Library Battle of the Books teams. We've got one for middle school and one for high school, and both of them promote reading, collaboration, friendly competition, and fun. Stop by the information session to check out this year's books and to learn more about how the battle works.
This year the Middle School Team will read (and get free copies of):
- Winterhouse by Ben Guterson
- Simon Sort of Says by Erin Bow
- One Crazy Summer by Rita-Williams-Garcia
- City Spies by James Ponti
- Camp Famous by Jennifer Blecher
- Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier
The high school team will read (and get free copies of):
- Promise Boys by Nick Brooks
- Rayne & Delilah's Midnite Matinee by Jeff Zentner
- Monstrous by Sarah Myer
- Fire Keeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley
- I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston
